About the Artist
I was born in 1978 in Greensburg, PA, the middle child and only son of two parents (Mom and Dad). After a two and a half year stint in western Pennsylvania, I was whisked off to the wondrous lands of Minnesota, Indiana, South Carolina, and Wisconsin. It was during this time that I grew into the man I am today - a man who hopes to some day draw talking cartoon animals for a living.
Following high school in Sauk Prairie, Wisconsin, I decided to head back to Pennsylvania to study architecture at Penn State University. After college, and a less than exciting year and a half in York, PA, I finally put away enough money to move out to beautiful Scottsdale, Arizona.
As for providing a life for myself (outside of the lucrative business of online comic strips, of course), I currently work as a Project Manager for Troon Golf in Scottsdale. Somehow, I found a way to combine my love of golf with my love of not wanting to have completely wasted that five year period of my life I spent pulling all-nighters in college.
What else do I enjoy doing outside of drawing? Apart from art (that's a funny phrase), I enjoy playing golf, basketball, tennis, racquetball, football, and just about anything else that involves either throwing something or hitting something (kicking something - not so much). I also enjoy playing both the piano and guitar - particularly classic rock. Whether or not other people enjoy it is a different matter entirely.
